Andy Andrews
Co-Founder and CEO

As the CEO, I wear many hats. But I’m always focused on one thing: helping people work smarter and grow faster. Even after 25 years of working across skills and HR tech leadership roles at Microsoft, Salary.com and InfoBasis, I still love jumping into client sessions to help define bold, practical skills strategies. I’m a loyal Arsenal Women’s fan and love a bit of travel, especially around the US. There’s nothing quite like mixing business with a bit of local flavor.

Duncan Smart
Director of Technology

I’m a full-stack developer who loves to get involved end-to-end: from the pixel-perfect buttons to the bytes buried in the database. I believe tech should help, not create hassle, so I like to keep things simple – without oversimplifying. Currently developing my skills as a roadie and sound engineer for my teenage son’s rock band.

Ben Hedges
Service Delivery Director

I’m a technical communicator, working closely with development teams to translate business requirements into skills-based HR systems. I think keeping things light and having fun is a great recipe for success, no matter how challenging the project. When I’m not in the office I’m cycling to keep fit. Or baking cakes – which clashes slightly with the cycling. So I usually have one slice and give the rest away.

I’ve been holding the reins on operations for the last 15 years, keeping things running like clockwork. I’m also somehow juggling grandparent duties, travel adventures and the odd lawn bowls tournament all at the same time (turns out bowls is my hidden talent!) I’m always up for trying something new – as long as it doesn’t interfere with grandkid cuddles or my next sunny getaway!
